Query Letter Submission Guidelines

• Please do not send full manuscripts until requested, a query email is all we need to get started.

• Submit your query letter following guidelines below. please put everything into the body of the email no attachments will be opened.

  • Author's contact name

  • Bio note: something about yourself, max of 100 words.

  • The category and genre of the work

  • Word count and page count

  • Title and subtitle

  • A sample of the work or the first 2 pages no longer than 500 words.

  • Your declaration that the manuscript you are submitting is your own original work and has not been previously published (see FAQ)

• Synopsis and query letter should be single-spaced

  Full Manuscript Submission Guidelines

We use standard publishing industry guidelines. Plus a few things to make things easier on us.

• Send all manuscripts using file format: ‘doc’, ‘docx’, ‘rtf’, ‘odt’.

• Font: Times Roman, Arial, or Courier, 12 point

• Margins: 1 inch on all sides

• Paragraph indentation: 0.5 inches

• Left justification; one space between sentences

• Manuscript should be double-spaced

• First page

  • Authors Contact information (preferably top left)

    • Author's Legal name

    • Pen name (if being used)

    • Author's mailing address

    • Phone number

    • Author's email address

  • Title/Subtitle with byline

  • The hook: the description of your story and the most critical query element; 100-300 words is sufficient
